SAN DIEGO – The men's tennis team got back in the win column after a 4-0 victory over the Western New Mexico Mustangs. (March 17).

Point Loma got the early momentum after gaining the doubles point. Tyler Davis and Lukas Schuster played a perfect match defeating their opponents 6-0 in the No. 2 position. Jasdeep Paintal and David Strassburger followed suite winning in the No. 3 position. They took down their opponent 6-1 and the Sea Lions would go to singles play up 1-0.

Lukas Schuster got PLNU another point after defeating his opponent in straight sets, 6-2 and 6-0. With all the momentum the Sea Lions did not slow down. Jasdeep Paintal collected the third point for the Sea Lions. Playing in the No. 5 position beat his opponent 6-2 and 6-1. David Strassburger brought the victory home as he won his match and sealing the victory over the Mustangs.
