Lauren O'Malley capped off her decorated Sea Lion career by earning Third Team All-American honors from two different organizations – the D2CCA and United Soccer Coaches.
D2CCA Third Team All-American honors, as announced on Wednesday.
O'Malley came back for a fifth season and had a campaign for the ages, setting multiple records along the way.
The center back became the first player to be voted PacWest Defender of the Year on three occasions and to receive All-PacWest recognition five times.
The Long Beach native was also named to the D2CCA All-West Region First Team for the second-straight year, earning All-Region honors for the third time overall.
O'Malley started all of PLNU's 20 games this year, playing a team-high 1,765 minutes while scoring three goals and adding two assists.
She led Point Loma to three PacWest championships and four NCAA West Regional appearances during her four full seasons as a Sea Lion.
The star defender started all 79 games she played in during her career.
This season, Point Loma (13-3-4 overall, 7-1-2 PacWest) reached the Second Round of the NCAA West Regional for the fourth-straight postseason.
