NCAA TOURNAMENT BRACKET
(BELLINGHAM, Wash.) PLNU Women's Soccer is back in the NCAA West Regional for the seventh-straight postseason.
Point Loma was announced as the No. 5 seed in the regional and will travel up to Bellingham, Washington for a first round match on Thursday against No. 4 seed Azusa Pacific.
Kickoff at Harrington Field on the campus of Western Washington is scheduled for 3 p.m.
PLNU earned the PacWest's automatic berth into the NCAA postseason after winning the conference tournament on Saturday in a 2-1 double overtime thriller over Dominican.
APU received an at-large bid into the NCAA West Regional for the second straight season. The Cougars won the PacWest regular season title before losing on penalties to Dominican in the conference tournament semifinals after a 0-0 draw through two overtimes.
PLNU and APU played on Oct. 29, with the Cougars prevailing by a 2-1 margin.
The winner on Thursday will advance to the second round to play No. 1 seed Western Washington on Saturday at 3 p.m.
