FRESNO, Calif.-In their most complete performance of the young season, the Point Loma Sea Lions (2-1 overall) dispatched the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds (2-3 overall) 6-1 Saturday morning at the Haak Tennis Complex.

The Sea Lions handily took the doubles point, with the pairing of Tyler Davis and Alex Leischuer winning 6-1 on court 1. David Strassburger and Elias Weeks clinched the point with a 6-1 win as well. Nabeel Khan and Lukas Schuster were up 4-3 in their matchup when play was stopped.

Point Loma won five singles matchups with Tyler Davis and David Strassburger picking up their first individual wins of the season, both winning in straight sets.

Jasdeep Paintal, Alexander Leischuer and Nabeel Khan all earned their second wins of the season in straight sets as well.

Point Loma will stay on the road next week when they travel to Claremont on Friday for a 1:00pm match. They will play at the University of Redlands on Saturday, also at 1:00pm.
