CLAREMONT, CA- Lukas Schuster grabbed the lone win as the Point Loma Sea Lions (2-2) fell 6-1 to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Stags (3-2) at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center. 

Schuster edged his opponent in the first set 6-4, before rebounding from a 6-0 loss in set two to take the match and the point 10-3 on court five.

CMS has taken the doubles point, despite a valiant effort on court one from Tyler Davis and Alexander Leischuer. The #1 pairing for Point Loma lost 7-6 after the Stags had already taken the other two matches.

Leischuer and Jasdeep Paintal each took their opening sets but couldn't sustain the momentum with Leischuer falling 10-7 in the tiebreaker and Paintal dropping each of the last two sets 6-4, 6-4.

Point Loma will bounce right back to play the University of Redlands at 1:00pm in Redlands, CA Saturday afternoon.
