(AZUSA, Calif.) PLNU Volleyball clinched the outright PacWest championship with a three-set sweep of Azusa Pacific on Thursday night, winning by set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-19.
Point Loma's 21 wins on the season also sets a new NCAA-era program record.

The first set was tied at 21-21 before the Sea Lions closed out the opening stanza with four-straight points, capped off by a
Bailey Williams kill.

The Sea Lions then trailed 7-11 in the second set but responded with a 9-0 run that featured five
Anna Massari blocks, including in each of the final three points.
Brooke Hanshumaker's kill then put Point Loma up two-sets-to-none.

Grace Hicks then recorded kills on three-consecutive points as part of a 5-0 run that gave PLNU control of the third set, before Williams clinched the sweep and the outright conference title with a kill.

Hicks led all players with 13 kills on a .647 attack %, while Williams (11 kills, 11 digs) and Hommes (10 kills, 10 digs) both posted double-doubles.

Massari tallied eight kills and 10 blocks.

Point Loma (21-5 overall, 18-1 PacWest) returns home to Golden Gym on Saturday for Senior Day, when the Sea Lions host Concordia at 4 p.m. in the teams' regular season finale.
