(DENVER) PLNU Women's Basketball won both the second and fourth quarters against Regis on Saturday, but the Rangers put up 27 points in both the first and third periods, helping the hosts claim an 89-65 victory.

Ellie Turk led Point Loma in most statistical categories, putting together a stat line of 21 points, six assists and five rebounds.

The Sea Lions got off to a fast start, with Turk's layup and
Hannah Golan's triple putting PLNU up 5-0 in the first 45 seconds of the game.

The visitors then led 9-8 at the 7:22 mark in the opening quarter, only for Regis to go on a 16-0 run over the next five minutes to take a commanding 15-point advantage.

Shayla O'Neil's 3-pointer and then later
Grace Moawad's fastbreak layup cut PLNU's deficit to seven in the second quarter, before the Rangers extended that back up to 13 at the half.

Regis then maintained its double-digit lead for the remainder of the game.

PLNU won the points in the paint battle, 40-22.

Golan joined Turk in double figures with 13 points, while O'Neil had eight and
Eiley Tippins added seven.

Point Loma (1-3 overall) will now play in two neutral-site games after Thanksgiving in Irvine, taking on Northwest Nazarene on Friday at 3:30 p.m. before facing off against Simon Fraser on Saturday at noon.
