(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Men's Tennis continued its winning ways on Saturday evening with a 5-2 victory over visiting Middlebury.

The Sea Lions won their ninth-straight match, taking the doubles point and winning the first three singles matches to finish.

Fabian Penzkofer and
Elias Weeks won their fifth-straight doubles match as a pairing, 6-3 at No. 2,
Tyler Davis and
Alexander Leischner improved to 11-1 as a duo with their 6-4 victory at No. 1.

Alejandro Castaneda and
Nabeel Khan led 5-3 when the doubles point was finalized.

Davis (6-3, 6-4 at No. 2), Leischner (6-2, 7-6 at No. 1) and Castaneda (6-2, 6-4 at No. 6) then won in singles to clinch PLNU's team victory.

After Middlebury picked up two points at No. 4 and 5, Penzkofer closed out the scoring with his 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 win at No. 3. Penzkofer remains unbeaten in singles at 10-0 on the season.

Point Loma (11-1 overall) returns to the PLNU Tennis Courts on Monday for a 3 p.m. matchup with Williams.
