Rachel Whittington and
Thelma Sepulveda rolled at No. 3 doubles, 6-1, before the Golden Eagles went on to win at No. 1 and 2, which proved to be the difference in the match.

CUI won the first two singles matches to finish to put PLNU on the brink, but Point Loma won the next three to set up a winner-take-all matchup at No. 4.

Sepulveda earned the Sea Lions' first point with her 7-5, 6-0 win at No. 5.

Joelle Lanz then won 6-2, 7-5 at No. 2 before Whittington overcame a first-set loss to claim a 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 victory at No. 3 and tie the overall match.

Amanda Letzring managed to force a third set at No. 4 to prolong the match, before Concordia clinched the team victory with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 win.

Point Loma (9-4 overall) returns to the PLNU Tennis Courts on March 28 with a home match against Biola scheduled for 2 p.m.
