(IRVINE, Calif.) After moving into the top-25 of the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings on Wednesday, No. 24 PLNU Men's Tennis took care of business at Concordia, winning by a convincing 5-2 margin.
With the victory, Point Loma set a new NCAA-era program record for wins in a season (15).

Tyler Davis and
Alexander Leischner won 6-2 at No. 1 doubles before
Nabeel Khan and
Elias Weeks claimed a 6-3 victory at No. 3 to clinch the doubles point for Point Loma.

The Sea Lions then won each of the first four singles matches to finish to take a commanding 5-0 lead, before the Golden Eagles won the final two singles matches to avoid a shutout.

Fabian Penzkofer (No. 3 – 7-6, 6-2),
Alexander Leischner (No. 1 – 7-6, 6-2) and
Tyler Davis (No. 2 – 6-3, 7-6) won their singles matches to clinch Point Loma's 13th-straight victory before
Andrew Suver rounded out PLNU's scoring with his 7-5, 7-6 triumph at No. 4.

Point Loma (15-1 overall), the top ranked team in the PacWest, returns to competition at 2 p.m. on Saturday in La Mirada, where the Sea Lions will take on Biola.
