(SAN DIEGO) No. 13 PLNU Volleyball bounced back from its first loss of the season with a four-set (25-13, 25-20, 24-26, 25-21) victory over Jessup on Saturday.

Point Loma rolled in the opening set, hitting a match-high .462 with 13 kills and just one error, before leading by as many as eight in its comfortable second set victory.

With a chance then to complete the sweep, PLNU saved a pair of set points, only for the Warriors to prolong the match by forcing a fourth set.

The Sea Lions took over late in the fourth and ultimately final stanza, scoring four of the final five points, with
Avery Allemann's kill clinching the victory for the hosts.

Abigail Nua led all players with 21 kills, followed by
Saren Rogers with 14 and
Genevieve Hara with 10, as
Sophia Baugh dished out a career-high 50 assists.

Kira Federico tied for the match lead with 12 digs apiece.

Point Loma (23-1 overall, 17-1 PacWest) has two more matches left in the regular season, on Wednesday at Azusa Pacific (6 p.m.) and Saturday at home versus Menlo (2 p.m.).
