(AZUSA, Calif.) No. 13 PLNU Volleyball rolled to a three-set sweep (25-13, 25-13, 25-15) of Azusa Pacific on Wednesday night in its penultimate match of the regular season, winning each set by double digits.

The Sea Lions were efficient offensively, posting an attack % of at least .306 in each set, including a match-high .484 in the third, when the team committed only a single hitting error.

Trailing 7-8 in the first, Point Loma scored nine of the next 10 points to take control before
Gabby Hicks clinched the opening stanza with a kill.

PLNU quickly doubled up on APU in the second, scoring seven of the final eight points, three of which came on
Abigail Nua kills, to go up 2-0 in the match.

The Sea Lions then closed the door on the Cougars in the third, with setter
Sophia Baugh doing the honors with a kill to finish off the victory.

Anna Massari and
Saren Rogers led the offense with 11 kills apiece, with Nua contributing nine. Baugh dished out 30 assists, served three aces and posted 10 digs.
Makenna Joyce led the team with 11 digs. Â Â

Point Loma (24-1 overall, 18-1 PacWest) returns home to Golden Gym for Saturday's regular season finale against Menlo at 2 p.m. Senior Day festivities will take place before the match starts.
