(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Women's Basketball bounced back with a 59-46 victory over previously unbeaten Saint Martin's, on Saturday inside Golden Gym.
 
A 10-0 run late in the first quarter gave Point Loma an early lead, before the Sea Lions held the Saints to single-digit points in both the second and third quarters.
 
Triples from both Grace Moyers and Shayla O'Neil early in the fourth helped extend PLNU's advantage to as many as 23, as PLNU held SMU to just 26.8% shooting from the field in the game.
 
Eiley Tippins (12 points), Moyers (11 points) and Alli McDonald  (13 points, 11 rebounds all scored in double figures, as nine Sea Lions in total scored points.
 
Point Loma (3-3 overall) next plays in Burnaby, Brisith Columbia for a pair of games, beginning on Friday against NorthWest Nazarene at 1:30 p.m.
