(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Men's Tennis reached double-digit wins for the third-straight season with a 5-2 victory over Concordia on Wednesday afternoon in its penultimate match of the regular season.

Nabeel Khan and
Elias Weeks picked up a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles before
Alexander Leischner and
David Strassburger held serve to clinch the doubles point for the Sea Lions with their 6-4 victory at No. 1.

Point Loma then won four of the six singles matches in straight sets, starting with
Nabeel Khan's (6-3, 6-2) triumph at No. 5.

Andrew Suver (6-1, 6-2) and
Matt Melosch (6-3, 6-2) both raced out to 3-0 leads in the first set at No. 2 and No. 4 respectively.

Suver earned a break in the second set to go up 5-2 before holding serve to move PLNU to within one singles win from clinching the overall match victory.

Lukas Schuster then did the honors, winning 6-2, 6-4 at No. 6.

Melosch rounded out the scoring for the Sea Lions, who led 5-0 before the Golden Eagles claimed the final two singles matches with the match result already in hand.

Point Loma (10-7 overall) returns to the PLNU Tennis Courts on Saturday against Westmont, as the team will celebrate Senior Day.
