(SURPRISE, Ariz.) Fourth-seeded PLNU Men's Tennis booked its spot in the Fifth-Place Match at the PacWest Championships with a 4-0 victory over eighth-seeded Metro State on Friday morning.

Point Loma took the doubles point, winning two of the three matches.

Lukas Schuster went up a break early in their set at No. 3 on their way to winning 6-3.

Nabeel Khan and
Elias Weeks then clinched the doubles point by breaking their opponents' serve to win 6-4 after Khan's forehand winner at the net.

Alexander Leischner rolled to a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 1 before wins by Khan (6-2, 6-1) and Schuster (6-2, 6-2) at No. 5 and No. 6 sealed the team win.

Khan and Schuster both raced out to 3-0 leads in the first set of their victories.

Suver trailed 0-5 in the first set of his No. 2 singles match before storming back to win the set 7-5, leading his match that was left unfinished.
