(POMONA, Calif.) No. 5 PLNU Baseball scored in all but two innings as Point Loma rolled to a 17-4 non-conference win at Cal Poly Pomona on Tuesday night.

The Sea Lions scored four runs in both the first and fourth innings, three runs in the seventh and ninth, and a single run in each of the second, third and sixth.

Point Loma hit four home runs, with
Eric Smelko,
Jake Entrekin,
Esai Santos and
Scott Anderson all going yard.

Anderson had five hits and five RBIs, while Entrekin also tallied five RBIs on four hits. Entrekin raised his batting average to .406 on the season.

Dylan Miller earned his ninth win of the year to tie for the NCAA Division II lead, pitching six innings and striking out six.

Point Loma (28-8-1 overall) returns to Carroll B. Land Stadium on Wednesday to host Saint Katherine. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
