(IRVINE, Calif.) PLNU Women's Tennis had its record 13-match winning streak come to an end on Tuesday, as Concordia defeated Point Loma 4-3.
 
The Golden Eagles' victory in doubles proved to be the difference between the two sides, as both teams then won three singles matches apiece.
 
Amanda Letzring picked up the Sea Lions' first point with a 6-1, 6-4 victory at No. 1.
 
After CUI won the next two singles matches, Quin Brady kept PLNU alive with her 6-4, 7-5 triumph at No. 4.
 
Point Loma very well might have continued its winning streak had an injury not forced Emely Valencia to retire from her match, which clinched the Golden Eagles' victory.
 
Anna Pallencaoe then finished the contest with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 5.
 
Point Loma (14-3 overall) concludes its regular season on Saturday at 2 p.m., when PLNU hosts Westmont on Senior Day.
