PLNU Men's Basketball is scheduled to begin its 2024-25 season at the prestigious Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic.
 
The NCAA Division II showcase will take place Nov. 2 and Nov. 3 in Lakeland, Florida on the campus of Florida Southern College.
 
Point Loma will compete in the two-day event that features 10 teams and five games each day.
 
The field includes last year's national finalists, Minnesota State and Nova Southeastern, and four who reached the Elite Eight.
 
In its two games, PLNU will take on Fort Lewis and tournament hosts Florida Southern.
 
This past season, Fort Lewis claimed the RMAC Tournament crown and reached the second round of the South Central Regional, while Florida Southern made it to the South Regional championship.
 
Point Loma is coming off a third-straight PacWest Conference title.
 
This year will be the first time the Sea Lions will play in the SCB HOF Classic, which began in 2016.
