(AZUSA, Calif.) For the first time in program history, PLNU Men's Tennis is making back-to-back NCAA West Regional appearances.

On Monday, Point Loma was announced as the No. 4 seed in the four-team regional, where the Sea Lions are paired up with top-seeded Azusa Pacific.

PLNU enters its third-ever NCAA regional appearance with a 13-8 overall record, while APU is unbeaten on the year at 22-0 and is coming off a third-straight PacWest title.

The two teams played once earlier this season, with the Cougars edging the Sea Lions 4-3 back on Feb. 10 in PLNU's season opener.

 They will square off in the NCAA West Regional for the first time on May 14 in Azusa at 3 p.m.

The winner between Point Loma and Azusa Pacific will advance to the NCAA Championships in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
