(NAMPA, Idaho) PLNU Volleyball rolled to a three-set sweep (25-14, 25-23, 25-21) of Saint Martin's on Saturday afternoon to complete a perfect non-conference schedule for the first time in the program's NCAA era.

Point Loma's 6-0 overall start to the year is the program's best since the 2011 squad began the season with nine-straight victories.

The Sea Lions rolled in the first set, posting a .414 attack %. PLNU then trailed in set two, 15-20, before rallying off a 7-0 run to retake the lead. With the second tied at 23 apiece, kills from
Anna Massari and
Abigail Nua put Point Loma up by two sets.

PLNU then held SMU to a .025 attack % in the third stanza to clinch the sweep, its fourth in six matches this year.

Nua led all players with 13 kills, just missing out on a second-straight double-double with her nine digs.
Sophia Baugh dished out a match-high 35 assists, while
Makenna Joyce led the team with 13 digs and two service aces.

Point Loma (6-0 overall) now turns its attention to PacWest play, which begins on Thursday at Concordia. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
