The Sea Lions took advantage of a Penguins' own goal in the 11th minute, only for the hosts to equalize just over a minute later.

Point Loma broke a 1-1 tie two minutes into the second half with
Felix Calero's brilliant strike from outside the left corner of the box that curled up and over the goalkeeper and into the top right corner of the net.

O'Brien then sealed the three points for PLNU with his first collegiate goal. Niko Kacmarczyk played
Elijah Langford in behind the Dominican defense, before he turned around and laid the ball of for O'Brien to calmly place into the bottom corner of the net with the inside of his right foot.

The Sea Lions outshot the Penguins 19-12, including 9-4 in shots on goal.
Reinier ter Riet made three saves in goal to earn the victory.

Point Loma (4-1-2 overall, 2-0 PacWest), winners of three straight, returns to PacWest action on Thursday, when the Sea Lions travel to take on Vanguard in Costa Mesa starting at noon.
