(FRESNO, Calif.) No. 20 PLNU Volleyball extended its winning streak to double digits to start the season, sweeping Fresno Pacific (25-22, 25-18, 25-23) on Saturday afternoon.

The sweep is Point Loma's sixth in 10 matches so far this year. The Sea Lions' 10-0 start is their best since 2009, when the team began the year 11-0.

In the first set, PLNU trailed 19-21 before rallying off six-straight points to take a 1-0 match lead.

Anna Massari, who led the team with 10 kills on a .409 hitting %, tallied three kills in that six-point stretch.

Massari then clinched the second set for Point Loma with a solo block, one of her five total blocks on the day to lead all players, as PLNU held FPU to just a .051 attack % in the second stanza.

The Sea Lions then trailed by as many as five in the third set but overcame that deficit by scoring seven of the final nine points, hitting an efficient .303 in the third.

Point Loma (10-0 overall, 4-0 PacWest) returns to PacWest play on Tuesday at Vanguard. First serve in Costa Mesa is scheduled for 6 p.m.
PLNU will then return to Golden Gym on Thursday for Dig Pink Night against Azusa Pacific at 6 p.m.
