Following its first PacWest loss of the season on Thursday, Point Loma bounced back with a resounding 75-57 victory over Chaminade in Golden Gym on Saturday afternoon.

The Sea Lions raced out to a dominant first quarter, outscoring the Silverswords 19-7, with
Grace Moyers' 3-pointer putting the hosts up by as many as 13 in the opening 10 minutes.

PLNU then scored 23 points in the second, including eight from
Shayla O'Neil, as the Sea Lions 57.1% in the first half.

After leading by 18 points at halftime, Point Loma extended its lead even further in the third after
Tavia Rowell's behind-the-back assist in transition to
Kaylee Byon put PLNU up by a game-high 30 points.

Eleven Sea Lions scored in the game, led by Rowell's 13 points.
Alli McDonald added nine points and seven rebounds, while Byon contributed eight points and seven assists, surpassing 100 assists on the season.

O'Neil (8 points), Hannnah Golan (8 points, 6 rebounds) and
Annika Thayer (6 points, 8 rebounds) paced PLNU's second unit that outscored the Silverswords' bench, 33-13.

Point Loma (14-4 overall, 9-1 PacWest), tied atop the conference standings with Azusa Pacific, next travels to Costa Mesa on Thursday to take on Vanguard at 5:30 p.m.
