Priya Torres scored in the second half to salvage a point for PLNU Women's Soccer on the road at Biola on Wednesday evening, with the PacWest contest ending in a 1-1 draw.
Biola opened the scoring just over two minutes into the game, ending Point Loma's four-match shutout streak.
The Sea Lions equalized through Torres in the 68th minute, as the sophomore forward latched onto a
Nikki Ross through ball before slotting past the Eagles goalkeeper.
PLNU pushed forward for a winner with six shots in the final 20 minutes, as
Grace Nelson hit the post and
Nikki Ross had her follow-up effort blocked.
Gianna Masinter, who was credited with a second assist on Torres' goal, had a shot saved later on, but the Sea Lions were unable to find another despite their 12-5 shot advantage in the match.
Biola (3-1-8 overall, 0-0-5 PacWest) has now tied all five of its conference matches this season by a 1-1 scoreline.
Point Loma (4-2-3 overall, 1-0-2 PacWest), unbeaten in its last five matches, returns to the PLNU Soccer Field on Saturday to host Vanguard at 11:30 a.m.
