(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Women's Soccer placed eight players on the All-PacWest Team, while
Kylie Garcia was named PacWest Newcomer of the Year.

Alyssa Ketcham earned Second Team honors, with graduate forward Garcia and freshman midfielder
Maddy Saruwatari receiving Third Team recognition.
Nelson (3 assists) and Torres (4 assists) are tied for the team lead with four goals, while Crockett and Masinter (1 goal, 2 assists) have anchored PLNU's backline that has kept a 0.63 goals against average and eight shutouts this season.
Ross and Garcia have both also scored four goals each to tie for the team lead, while adding two assists apiece. Garcia, a graduate transfer from UC Davis, is the program's third-ever PacWest Newcomer of the Year and first since Makenna Herrero in 2019.
Ketcham (3 goals) is tied for the team lead and tied for fourth in the conference with four assists, along with Torres.
Saruwatari (1 goal, 1 assist) has been a spark offensively for the Sea Lions in just her freshman season.
Nelson, Crockett, Masinter and Ketcham all earned All-Conference honors for the second consecutive season, with Ross also earning her second career All-PacWest nod. Crockett received All-Conference recognition for the third time.
Point Loma (8-3-5 overall, 5-1-4 PacWest) is the third seed in this week's PacWest Championships and will play second-seeded Hawai'i Hilo in Thursday's conference semifinals at 2 p.m.
The two teams battled to a 1-1 draw on Oct. 23 in Hilo.
The winner will advance to Saturday's championship match at noon against either No. 1 seed Azusa Pacific or No. 4 seed Dominican.
