(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Women's Basketball held a PacWest opponent to 50 points or fewer for the sixth time this season, outscoring Jessup by 11 points in the second half to win 57-48 in Rocklin on Saturday.

With the win, Point Loma remains tied atop the PacWest standings with Azusa Pacific.

The Sea Lions trailed by two at halftime before holding the Warriors to just 18 points in the second half.

That included just four Jessup points in the third quarter, as PLNU held the hosts to just 12.5% shooting and 0-for-6 from behind the arc in the period.

Point Loma saved its best offensive quarter for last, scoring 19 points in the fourth, as the Sea Lions led by as many as 12 after a pair of
Tavia Rowell free throws with 17 seconds left in regulation.

Rowell led the team with 13 points, hitting a trio of 3-pointers, while
Kaylee Byon and
Eiley Tippins each pitched in with 12 points apiece.

Alli McDonald brought down a game-high 10 rebounds, as PLNU outrebounded Jessup 42-31.
