The Sea Lions'Â win coupled with Vanguard's victory over Azusa Pacific means Point Loma finds itself in solo possession of first place in the conference standings. PLNU also officially clinched a spot in the PacWest Tournament.

Alli McDonald added a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds, as Point Loma shot 50% from 3-point range as a team, with Rowell draining a trio of triples and McDonald sinking a pair.

After trailing by as many as eight in the first half, the Sea Lions closed the second quarter on a 7-0 run to take a 33-30 lead at halftime.

PLNU never trailed the rest of the way, extending its lead to double digits in the fourth on McDonald's jumper.
