(SANTA BARBARA, Calif.) PLNU Women's Tennis opened its 2025 campaign in style on Saturday with a 7-0 road victory at Westmont to win its third straight season opener.
 
Point Loma claimed the doubles point with a pair of 6-1 victories at No. 1 (Arianna Audelo/Quin Brady) and No. 2 (Anna Pallencaoe/Emely Valencia).
 
The Sea Lions then won all six singles matches in straight sets.
 
Both Audelo (No. 1) and Antonia Barth (No. 4) lost only three games in winning their matches 6-2, 6-1.
 
Brady (No. 3) and Valencia (No. 6) both won their matches by identical 6-2, 6-2 scores, while Kupfer (No. 2) and Pallencaoe (No. 5) each prevailed by a 6-3, 6-3 margin.
 
Point Loma (1-0 overall) returns to the PLNU Tennis Courts on Thursday to host Jessup at 4 p.m.
