(SAN DIEGO) No. 13 PLNU Baseball took both games of Thursday's PacWest doubleheader with Hawai'i Hilo, winning by scores of 6-2 and 5-2.
Jonathan Kozasky pitched five shutout innings in game one to earn the win, followed up by six innings of two-run ball from
Brock Mayer in game two.
Jake Entrekin had three hits in game one, knocking in the first two runs with RBI-singles.
The Sea Lions scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth to take a 5-0 lead, with
Josiah Rodriguez's RBI-double highlighting the inning.
Then in the second game,
Luke Reece blasted a three-run shot in the third before
Matt Bernath launched a two-run blast in the fourth to account for PLNU's runs in the game.
Christian Williams then pitched a scoreless seventh inning to earn his sixth save of the season.
Point Loma (18-8 overall, 14-6 PacWest) will host Hawai'i Hilo again on Friday in Carroll B. Land Stadium, with a doubleheader scheduled to begin at noon.
