(SAN DIEGO) No. 15 PLNU Women's Tennis extended its winning streak to nine matches with a dominant 6-1 win over Metro State on Saturday afternoon.

During the winning streak, no opponent has scored more than two points against the Sea Lions.

Point Loma cruised in doubles, with
Emely Valencia and
Alina Kupfer winning 6-3 at No. 2 before
Anna Pallencaoe and
Antonia Barth won 6-1 at No. 3 to clinch the doubles point.
Arianna Audelo and
Quin Brady led 5-3 at No. 1 with their match left unfinished.

PLNU then won five of the six singles matches, with all five of those coming in straight sets.

Brady didn't drop a single game in her 6-0, 6-0 triumph at No. 4.

Audelo won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2 before Pallencaoe sealed the team victory with a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 6.

Valencia served an ace to close out her 6-1, 6-4 victory at No. 5, while Barth then rounded out PLNU's scoring with her 6-2, 6-4 triumph at No. 3. Barth broke her opponent's serve with the second set tied at 4-4 before holding serve to win in straight sets.

Point Loma (11-2 overall) returns to the PLNU Tennis Courts on Wednesday to take on Concordia at 3 p.m.
