(SAN DIEGO) No. 28 PLNU Women's Tennis defeated the defending PacWest champions Academy of Art on Saturday by a dominant 6-1 scoreline.
 
Point Loma won the doubles point thanks to Arianna Audelo's and Quin Brady's 7-5 victory at No. 1.
 
After ART U won the first singles match to finish, the Sea Lions swept the rest in straight sets.
 
Antonia Barth prevailed 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3, while Brady won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 4. On Court No. 2, Audelo triumphed 6-2, 6-2 against the region's No. 4 singles player.
 
PLNU also won on courts No. 5 and No. 6 by default.
 
Point Loma (6-2), winners of four straight, host Augustana on Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Barnes Tennis Center.
