(SAN DIEGO) No. 19 PLNU Women's Tennis extended its winning streak to 12 matches, just one shy of tying last season's program record, with a 4-1 victory over Williams on Tuesday evening.

Point Loma won the doubles point with victories on Courts No. 3 and No. 2.

Melissa Zirkle and
Emely Valencia won the final four games at No. 3 on their way to a comprehensive 6-1 triumph.

Antonia Barth and
Anna Pallencaoe then clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 victory at No. 2, breaking serve to put the Sea Lions up 1-0 in the match.

Then in singles, PLNU claimed three of the four matches that finished, all in straight sets.

Quin Brady won 6-4, 6-3 at No. 3, followed by Valencia's 7-5, 6-1 victory at No. 4.

Barth then put the finishing touches on the team win, prevailing 7-5, 5-0 by opponent retirement at No. 2.

Point Loma (14-2 overall) takes its 12-match winning streak into a road matchup against No. 17 Azusa Pacific on Saturday at 3 p.m.
