(SAN DIEGO) No. 6 PLNU Volleyball will enter PacWest play on an eight-match winning streak, including five straight sweeps, after Point Loma took care of Hawai'i Pacific in straight sets (25-19, 25-9, 25-22) on Saturday afternoon.

The Sea Lions held the Sharks to a -.020 attack %, the lowest percentage they've limited an opponent to all season.

Point Loma had 12 blocks as a team, including a career-high six from freshman middle blocker
Hailey Clark and four each by
Abigail Nua and
Jill Leslie.

PLNU's best offensive set of the match came in a dominant second stanza during which the Sea Lions hit .405 with 17 kills and just two errors.

Point Loma went on separate 4-0 and 7-0 runs on
Kira Federico's serve, with Federico serving a pair of aces in the set.

PLNU then completed the sweep by scoring five of the final six points in the third set, capped off by
Saren Rogers' ninth kill of the match.

Nua led all players with 15 kills, while Leslie matched Rogers' kills total with nine.
Sophia Baugh dished out 35 assists.

Macy Reynolds added 13.

Point Loma (10-1 overall) will play its first PacWest match of the season on Monday when PLNU hosts Hawai'i Hilo at 6 p.m. in Golden Gym.
