(IRVINE, Calif.) PLNU Men's Basketball defeated Concordia on Saturday night, 74-64, in a crucial PacWest matchup as the Sea Lions remained perfect in 2026.

PLNU trailed by six early in the first half before a 7-0 Sea Lions' run capped by a Jake Lifgren layup gave the Sea Lions their first lead six minutes in.
 
Point Loma then led by as many as 10 in the first half following a pair of James Nobles free throws before taking a five-point advantage into the locker room.
 
PLNU then led by multiple possessions for the remainder of the contest, as the Sea Lions' starting five all reached double figures in scoring for the second-straight game.
 
Caden Harris and Jaden Matingou both shot 6-for-11 from the field and scored 16 points to lead the team, with Andrew Hommes adding 14.
 
Andrew Nagy scored 12 points on a perfect 5-for-5 shooting and 2-for-2 from the free throw line, while James Nobles contributed 10 points.
 
PLNU dominated CUI in points in the paint (50-30), helping the Sea Lions overcome a 2-for-12 night from behind the arc.
