(IRVINE, Calif.) PLNU Women's Basketball won its third straight game on Saturday, defeating Concordia on the road, 70-65.

Eiley Tippins led all players with 18 points, shooting 8-for-11 from the field, while
Izzy Navarro (15 points) and
Hannah Golan (11 points) also scored in double figures.

Back-to-back triples from Navarro and Golan gave Point Loma an early 12-2 advantage just four minutes into the opening quarter, as the Sea Lions never trailed in the game.

PLNU then led by five after the first and second periods, before
Jocelyn Pascual extended Point Loma's lead to as many as 14 in the third quarter.

The visitors took a double-digit lead into the fourth, but the Golden Eagles got to within three in the final minute of regulation. However, a pair of Pascual free throws sealed the the Sea Lions' third-straight victory.

PLNU outscored CUI in the paint, 44-34, while Navarro six steals for a Sea Lions' defense that forced 23 turnovers and limited the Golden Eagles to just 22.2% shooting from 3-point range.

Point Loma (11-4 overall, 7-2 PacWest) returns home to Golden Gym to host Biola on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
