(ATHERTON, Calif.) PLNU Men's Basketball completed a perfect trip to northern California to open the new year, defeating Menlo 74-51 on Saturday afternoon.

Both of Point Loma's wins on the trip came by at least 23 points, its two largest margins of victory against NCAA opponents this season, with the Sea Lions also taking down Dominican on Thursday by 25.

PLNU limited Menlo to just 18 points in the first half on 23.5% shooting, including 0-for-7 from 3-point range.

The 18 points allowed are the fewest the Sea Lions have conceded against an opponent in a single half since March 1, 2025 against Westmont. Its 51 total points allowed are also PLNU's fewest since that same game last season.

After leading 32-18 at halftime, Point Loma outscored Menlo by double digits in the second half to win by 23 points.

Four Sea Lions scored in double figures, with
James Nobles,
Andrew Nagy and
Caden Harris all scoring a team-high 13 points in the victory.
Jaden Matingou added 11 points.

PLNU held a 46-28 advantage in points in the paint, while outrebounding Menlo 45-31.

Point Loma (10-3 overall, 5-2 PacWest) return home to Golden Gym on Thursday to host Jessup at 4 p.m.
