Point Loma made its first six shots and shot 74.1% in the first half, shooting 20-for-27 from the field.

Jaden Matingou made back-to-back 3-pointers before
Andrew Nagy put PLNU up by double digits for the first time, 18-7.

The Sea Lions shot it well from behind the arc in the first half, going 6-for-11 from 3-point range, while holding Jessup 0-for-8 from distance.

All nine PLNU players who played in the first half scored, as Point Loma led 50-23 going into the locker room.

The Sea Lions then extended their lead to as many as 29 early in the second half, as they won their third-straight game to start 2026.

Nagy led all players with 21 points, leading a Sea Lions' starting five that all reached double figures. Matingou scored 18 points, while
James Nobles added 16, to go along with 12 from
Caden Harris and 11 from
Andrew Hommes.
