(ATHERTON, Calif.) PLNU Women's Basketball scored its most points in any quarter this season, as Point Loma rolled past Menlo on Saturday afternoon, 86-69.

The Sea Lions scored 29 points in the opening quarter, its most points in a single quarter since registering a program-record 36 against Menlo on Feb. 27, 2025.

PLNU jumped out to a 29-15 lead after one, shooting 68.4% from the field and 3-for-4 from behind the arc.

The Oaks opened the second quarter on an 8-0 run to get to within six, only for the Sea Lions to quickly re-establish a double-digit lead which they maintained for the remainder of the game.

Eiley Tippins (9 rebounds) scored a career-high 25 points, while
Izzy Navarro (13 points) dished out 12 assists, the most by a PLNU player since Anna Viettry's 12 on Dec. 10, 2016.

Hannah Golan (18 points, 8 rebounds) and
Ruby Vlahov (14 points, 6 rebounds) also scored in double figures.

Tippins and Vlahov helped the Sea Lions dominate in the low post, outscoring the Oaks 50-16 in points in the paint. PLNU also outpaced Menlo in second-chance points, 18-0.

Point Loma (9-4 overall, 5-2 PacWest) returns home to Golden Gym on Thursday to host Jessup at 2 p.m.
