Point Loma's defense forced 30 turnovers, turning that into a 34-9 advantage in points off turnovers, as the Sea Lions outscored the Silverswords 29-7 in fastbreak points.

PLNUÂ pushed the pace from the opening tip, with its first four points coming on fastbreaks, as
Izzy Navarro had four steals in the first quarter alone.

A 13-0 run helped the hosts go up by double digits after one before the visitors got back to within two in the second quarter.

The Sea Lions scored the final five points before halftime and carried that momentum into the second half, winning the third quarter by a 27-7 margin.

PLNU then led by as many as 30 in the fourth quarter on its way to its seventh-straight win.

Eiley Tippins (20 points) scored 20-plus points for the third-straight game, as she was joined in double figures by
Ruby Vlahov (17 points), Navarro (12 points) and
