PLNU POSTS LARGEST WIN IN PACWEST PLAY THIS SEASON

(HONOLULU) PLNU Men's Basketball posted its largest margin of victory in a PacWest game this season, rolling past Chaminade by a score of 93-61.
 
Point Loma's 93 points are also its most in a conference game this season, as five Sea Lions scored in double figures and 11 different players scored in total.
 
PLNU held a 41-30 lead going into the locker room before exploding in the second half with 52 points, aided by 10 3-pointers made after halftime.
 
Andrew Hommes and Caden Harris led all scorers with 16 points apiece, with each making a trio of 3-pointers.
 
Andrew Nagy scored 14 points, while Jake Lifgren added 12 and Jaden Matingou had 11.
 
The Sea Lions outscored the Silverswords 44-14 in bench points.
 
Point Loma (18-4 overall, 13-3 PacWest) now has a two-game lead over second-placed Hawai'i Pacific ahead of Thursday's matchup between the top-two teams in the conference standings.
 
PLNU and HPU are scheduled to tip-off on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. PT / 6:30 p.m. HT.
