(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Women's Basketball reached the 20-win mark in back-to-back seasons for the first time in its NCAA era, as Point Loma defeated Hawai'i Pacific 66-53 on Thursday night in Golden Gym.

The Sea Lions got back in the win column after consecutive losses, as Point Loma never trailed in the game.

PLNU held HPU to single digits in the first quarter and took a four-point lead into the locker room before extending its advantage to double digits in the third.

Hannah Golan, who scored a game-high 17 points, put the hosts up by as many as 15 in the final period.

Four Sea Lions scored double-digit points, as
Ruby Vlahov (13 points),
Izzy Navarro (11 points) and
Eiley Tippins (10 points) joined Golan in double figures.

PLNU dominated on the glass with a 35-23 rebounding advantage and in the low post, outscoring HPU 44-18 in the paint.

Point Loma (20-7 overall, 16-5 PacWest) hosts Westmont in its regular season finale on Saturday at 2 p.m., with Senior Day festivities to take place before the game.

The two teams are tied with Azusa Pacific for second place in the conference standings with one game remaining before the postseason.

PLNU will be the No. 2 seed in the PacWest Championships with a win but would drop to the No. 4 seed with a loss.
