(SAN DIEGO) PLNU Men's Tennis battled No. 37 Azusa Pacific on Saturday, with the Cougars prevailing 5-2 in Point Loma's penultimate home match of the season.

APU took an early 1-0 lead after doubles, winning 6-4 in the two sets that finished while No. 2 doubles was level at 5-5.

David Fisinger briefly tied the match at 1-1 after his straight-set singles victory at No. 2 (6-3, 6-0).

APU then won the next four singles matches to finish and clinch the team victory, before
Finn Kirschner (6-4, 6-4) earned another point for the Sea Lions with his win on Court No. 3.

Point Loma (4-8 overall) now turns its attention to Senior Day on Tuesday, when PLNU hosts Saint Mary's at 4 p.m.
