(AZUSA, Calif.) PLNU Men's Tennis is back in the NCAA West Regional for a program record fourth straight season.
Point Loma was announced on Monday evening as the No. 4 seed in the NCAA West Regional and will travel to play at No. 1 seed Azusa Pacific on May 12 at 2:30 p.m.
The winner between PLNU and APU will advance to the NCAA Championships in Surprise, Ariz. (May 19-23).
The Sea Lions and Sharks are matching up in the regional for the second time in the last three years, with APU defeating PLNU 4-0 in 2024.
The two teams have played twice this season, with the PacWest champion Cougars prevailing 5-2 on March 28 and 4-1 in the PacWest semifinals on Apr. 16.
Point Loma (9-11 overall), coming off a third place finish at the PacWest Tournament, is seeking a first ever trip to the NCAA Championships.
