(SAN DIEGO) Freshman forward Evan Youngflesh is on fire.
 
Youngflesh has now scored in three straight games and was named the PacWest Player of the Week for his performance in matches against Vanguard and Westmont.
 
In a 4-2 victory at Vanguard on Thursday, Youngflesh scored twice, once in each half, to propel the Sea Lions to a non-conference road win over the Lions.
 
Then on Saturday against Westmont, Youngflesh opened the scoring before being awarded an assist on the team's second goal in a 2-2 draw with the Warriors.

Including his goal against Cal State Monterey Bay on Sep. 12, Youngflesh now has four goals in his past three games.
 
His four goals and 10 points on the season lead the team.
 
Point Loma (3-2-3 overall) enters conference play on a four-match unbeaten streak.
 
PLNU will begin PacWest action at home on Thursday, when the Sea Lions play Chaminade at 3:15 p.m. Point Loma will then host Hawai'i Pacific on Saturday at 2:15 p.m.
