Guard Rhett Beal was a big reason that the Sea Lions competed so well against two of the top teams in the NAIA last week. For the week he had 43 points with 10 rebounds, 8 assists, a block and a steal. Beal scored 14 points in a near upset of Concordia and then posted 29 points, 6 boards and 5 assists as PLNU topped No. 12 Westmont 82-68. Beal did most of his scoring damage at the line as he made an incredible 22 of 24 tries there.  Beal was named as the GSAC Player of the Week on Monday
