Junior Morgan averaged 27.0 point per game last week in the NCCAA Regional to lead PLNU to the West Region with victories over Bethesda and Azusa Pacific. On Monday, Morgan became the third Sea Lion to score 30 points in a game this season as he went 13-of-15 from the floor en route to scoring a career-high 30 points. He also added 12 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season. The next day in the championship game against Azusa Pacific, Morgan scored 24 points on 8-of-13 shooting and just missed another double-double as he pulled in a team-high nine rebounds. With the pair of victories the Sea Lions will now advance to the eight-team NCCAA Championships in Winona Lake, Ind., on Mar. 19-22.
