Freshman goalkeeper Carter Phillips registered 9 saves and allowed just 2 goals in 186 minutes in goal as Point Loma Nazarene split its conference matches last week. In a 1-0 loss to No. 17 Vanguard, he had 5 saves. He then picked up a 2-1 overtime win at Biola, a match where he had 4 saves. Carter was named as the GSAC Defender of the Week.
