Roya Rustamzada started off the 2017-18 season with back-to-back double-doubles to help Sea Lions get out to a 2-0 start. She scored 31 points to go along with 23 boards to average 15.5 points and 11.5 rebounds for the weekend. She also added 10 assists, four steals, and four blocks. She did this while shooting .455 from the field and .333 from 3-point range. Both wins came at the CCAA/PacWest Conference Challenge.
