Freshman Michael Zablan earned three wins at the NAIA National Championships. Due to an illness, he played doubes (which he doesn't normally do), and was moved up from court six to five in singles in PLNU's second-round match. No problem. Zablan and partner Tyler Bowman rolled, and he won his singles match 6-3, 6-3. The next day, in a quarterfinal tilt, Zablan was the lone Sea Lion to register a win when he beat his Embry-Riddle (FL) foe 6-3, 6-2.
