REDLANDS, Calif. - The Redlands men's tennis program edged Point Loma 5-4 in a non-conference matchup on Saturday, Feb. 16.

The Sea Lions were playing from behind as the Bulldogs took two of three doubles matches. PLNU was able to earn its only doubles point at No. 2 when Daniel Milliken and Kaptan Kaster combined to take down Gram Leahy and Taylor Hunt 8-5.

Milliken and Kaster would also collect points for PLNU in singles as they won their matches in straight sets at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.  PLNU also got another singles point from Jakob Kevelaerts at No. 2. He defeated Nick Cummins in three sets 6-2, 3-6 and 6-3.

The Sea Lions were playing without Brooks Baldinger who had played at No. 1 singles and doubles throughout the season.

PLNU will now travel north to face Hope International on Monday, Feb. 18 at 2:00 p.m.
